FACT CHECKING POLICY

Policies: FAQ

FACT CHECKING

The entire Razen Group network of websites strives to create the highest quality coverage for the gaming, pop culture and entertainment worlds every day. Our world-class editorial team strives to ensure every piece of content published on our sites or associated off-platform channels is 100 percent accurate.

Each website in the Razen Group network understands the power and value of journalism, and to that end we employ a two-step fact-checking process as we strive for impeccable accuracy across our headlines, subheadings, articles and social copy.

Each writer in the network will fact-check their own copy for any direct errors, as well as any errors of omission or elements that may be misleading in context. That copy will then be separately fact-checked by an editor, who will ensure every story is verified, sourced correctly, and that all links are accurate prior to publication.

In instances where errors do occur, the Razen Group reserves the right to update articles post-publication to ensure the most accurate and contextually relevant information is included. More information about our network’s corrections policy can be found here.

OWNERSHIP POLICY

Policies: FAQ

OWNERSHIP

Gamers Hideout is owned and operated by Razen Group. The site was first founded in December 2021, with Razen founded Gamers Hideout.

Razen Group oversees Gamers Hideout’s operation across the website, search engines, social media platforms, streaming services, and off-platform news partnerships. The Gamers Hideout team remains independent from Razen, however, and Razen does not dictate or influence the site’s opinions or voice.

The site is funded through a mix of programmatic advertising, direct sales, and commercial campaigns. The editorial staff, however, operate independently from the advertising team, making their own decisions about content coverage, the tone of voice, and its execution.

On occasion, Razen Group will negotiate a direct affiliate or content campaign with third parties.

These articles will have a clear disclosure at the top of the post identifying the content, and any supporting parties that helped fund its creation. Any affiliate content may have a separate disclosure informing readers about products for which Razen may receive a commission. More information about our sponsored and affiliate content policy can be found here.
